Meet the Team

Annalisa has been waxing since she received her cosmetology license in 2012 from Paul Mitchell at MTI College. Upon earning her license, Annalisa decided that waxing was her passion. She found a waxing position where she was trained to perform full body, speed waxing. She eventually began training new employees, teaching them how to wax proficiently while making their clients feel comfortable. After 3.5 years working in a corporate setting, it was time to start her own business. 

It started with sharing a suite with another beauty professional, to moving into her own suite which she called Wanderlust.

Speak Easy Wax Co. was born in 2020 after the circumstances of the global pandemic, forcing small businesses to continue closing and reopening with little notice, Annalisa decided to rebrand. Speak Easy felt right to her because it sometimes felt as though she had to operate as a speakeasy during those times.

Annalisa takes pride in the quality of her work. With over 10 years of experience, she has perfected the art of waxing and expects every client to leave with a perfect result.

Amy became a licensed esthetician in 2012. She began her journey as a skincare professional because she has a great love for natural skin care and wanted to help educate people on the importance of maintaining a natural skincare routine. She decided to pursue a career in waxing because she thoroughly enjoys the upbeat atmosphere body waxing provides. 

Amy loves building relationships with her clients while she is providing her professional services. She prides herself on her attention to fine detail and sees herself as a perfectionist, which makes her excel in her profession. With over 10 years of experience in her field, Amy is an expert wax technician.
